There are some places in our small planet that worth some little moments of our life. Living in Malta for the last 3 weeks i discover many beautiful local cafes and cute stores that you can just seat and enjoy the…view!
In my neighbourhood here in Gzira, (its a quite area opposite Valletta), there is a beautiful small cafe that i didn’t know that there was next to my favourite supermarket, until my boyfriend told me one day. “You didn't know?how come?you gonna love it there its just your place!”. OK, i’ll go!
So, it turned out that the beautiful cafe was eventually next to the supermarket, but it was so small and dissect that i didn't see it all this time! Anyway, “Books and Cups” is a cafe that gives you the pleasure of serenity. Five wooden tables, soft music, customers who study or talk quiet, and the best part of all: The walls are covered with books! In different languages there are books from literature to children books and comics and even some classic novels.
You can read all of them during drinking your coffee or your tea (there is a big variety of green, black and rooibos tea) without no-one disturbing you! Or if you like you can buy on of those books in a reasonable price.
How relaxing! I m going every day at this cafe and i really enjoy my time here! (Im actually there now!)
Also if you feeling hungry it has a variety of sweets, breakfast and sandwiches and you can eat small meals in a really good price. The owner is from France and she is really helpfulll and friendly.
I think that this kind of places worth our time to stop for a cappuccino or some tea. Cause this is the little pleasures of life that keep us happy and give us a revitalising break in our busy life.
